MT5 Install Guide & First Trade Tutorial
Step-by-step instructions to get MT5 installed and place your first demo trade safely.
Step 1 — Download MT5
- Desktop: Visit MetaTrader 5 official site and download for Windows or Mac.
- Mobile: Search “MetaTrader 5” on Google Play or App Store and install.
Step 2 — Install MT5
- Run the downloaded installer (desktop) or open the app (mobile).
- Follow instructions to complete installation.
- Launch MT5 after installation.
Step 3 — Open a Demo Account
- Click “File → Open an Account” (desktop) or tap “Settings → New Account” (mobile).
- Choose a broker from Broker Comparison Page.
- Fill in demo account details and save your login info.
Step 4 — Explore Charts & Place Your First Trade
- Open the “Market Watch” window to see currency pairs.
- Right-click a pair → “New Order” to practice a demo trade.
- Use stop-loss and take-profit settings to manage risk.
- Track your trades in the “Trade” tab.
Step 5 — Learn & Practice
- Spend a few days trading demo funds to understand MT5 tools.
